Inspired by a drive out West and the slow approach into the mountains, this painting captures the sheer magnitude of a landscape both timeless yet brand new to me. As we drew closer, I was filled with awe: the horizon stretched endlessly ahead, vast and humbling. This piece reflects that moment of feeling small in the presence of something so immense, so quietly magnificent.

Cool grays in the foreground lead you back to the deeper purple-ish blue and more saturated, warm yellow and orange in the background. A few pops of bright magenta add the finishing touches.
